We had our third meeting with a little known, but quite amazing, bike company called Stijl Cycles today.
We look forward to doing our best to make this brand famous. We spoke with some very large companies and a few small ones, and overall gathered more interest than we ever imagined. But Stijl has won our hearts.
Stay tuned.

This greatly reduces our posting.
Dan King, Ben King’s uncle, was appalled at the idea that I did not own a road bike. So much so, that he loaned me his sweet ride while he was out of town. I was quickly reminded why I gave it up. Damn, it hurts.

Super cool to meet Ben King the other night. Click the pic for the whole story.

I got a nice ride in yesterday and covered every downtown trail I could remember. I tracked them all on Everytrail.com. (The pictures were all taken last week). Click the pic to see my track.

The WordPress app for the iPhone isn’t working right now. An update to fix is coming they say. So my posts have dropped off dramatically.

I found this bike in college, someone had turned it into a freestyle bike in the ’80s. I stripped all the pegs and junk off – keeping the layback seatpost – got new old school decals from Redline and dug out my Z-Rims from 1984! I had them rebuilt with some sealed hubs and I’ve been riding it like this since 1996. (thanks for the rad pics Cindy)

It was wet, turning roots into evil things that try to throw you off your bike. I need to hit the BMX track for some skill reminder time.

Freeride Entertainment can always be counted on to create some of the most epic freeride films ever. I own many of them and I can’t wait to see this one. In this pic…there is a guy on a bike. No really, there is. Click the pic for a link to the trailer on VITALMTB.com.

Heading back home tonight. Looking forward to gathering everything we learned, and getting in a ride in this weekend.

I was really impressed how much they filled out their line since I last saw.

I’ve always loved these guys. Might just be because they’re from England. Ha.

Gorgeous bikes are everywhere, but these have incredible, innovative drive systems.

Not allowed to take photos, but I will sneak some I’m sure.

This electric bike won the hill climb. Plus the inventor was the man, great talking with him. Hanebrink bikes, check em out.

Alex takes me riding in LA. He crushes me. But he is nice about it.

I think I just rode my new bike. Santa Cruz carbon tall boy. Now I need a second job to pay for it. Haha. So smooth and light, loved the 29″ wheels too.

I picked this up after I saw it at Interbike ’03. He’s 9 now. It’s still kickin’ – nice job Giant.

I leave with a massive amount of new knowledge to make our digital and social campaigns even better. This is going to be an amazing year.

Biria makes some nice rides. I’m in NYC and have seen a few. This is a friend’s.

About 17 miles of great single track on both sides of the James River. Today I’m going to hit up just the south side and the loop in Forrest Hill park.

My brother had an eventful few days. The very sane day he got engaged to his babe, someone stole his bike. Luckily he got a killer deal on this one. I’m waiting to ride some unknown gems this week before I upgrade my own ride.

He started out lagging behind today. He’s out of shape.

Very fortunate to be a student at Hyper Island’s Masters’ Class. Learning at the cutting edge of social/digital marketing.

We received our Interbike passes, the same day we begin this site. Seems appropriate. And stoke-worthy.
